Description:
The project is comprised of a 15,000 s.f. two story addition and 2,600 s.f. of remodeled existing area. The addition houses the Youth Activities Complex on the lower level which features a 2,700 s.f. multi-use assembly space that can be subdivided with moveable partitions into 3 classrooms. The main (upper) level adds classrooms for the church’s expanding Pre-School and an enlarged Nursery.
The remodeled areas incorporate a new coffee shop, information center and booksore into the existing church lobby. A primary emphasis of the design is to improve accessibility to the church. A new elevator entry at parking lot (mid) level provides direct access to the main (upper) and lower levels. The exterior design of the new wing complements the contemporary southwest design of the sanctuary that was added.
